Equipment Earl Romper DIY

I’m obsessed with button-ups, they can by styled sexy, chic, casual, professional, and dressed up or down. OBSESSED! I don’t own any Equipment button-ups, but I like to look at them! This one is perfection, and bonus: Its A ROMPER! Sweet Merlin’s beard!

I had this Costa Blanca button up dress in my closet, which I didn’t mind sacrificing, and I also found a jar of black die hiding in my paints (SCORE!)

The process is simple, grab your fabric die, grab a paint brush and go to it! Put a tea towel under whatever you are painting at the time (A MUST DO with dye) and make sure not to load your brush too much when near an edge. I was very careful along the seams, as dye will bleed if there is too much in one area. After I let it dry I ironed the dyed parts to set the colour. When you wash it, be sure to wash in cold water the first time to again prevent bleeding or colour loss.
