Anatomy of a Sunday

July 22, 2013 11:05 am

Perhaps it’s a sign of age, or a symptom of living outside the city, but I find it extremely taxing to drive longer than five minutes on the weekends. This means I spend most of my time in my garden or relaxing around the house, which is basically pure bliss!

This weekend was all about harvesting and cooking with lavender, experiencing what I can only describe as several hit-and-runs by kamikaze butterflies (that’s what I get for planting a butterfly bush), and a tournament of finger bowling salvaged from a long-lost Christmas cracker.

How do you guys relax on the weekends?

finger bowling… surprisingly not that exciting

pieces of sunshine

Not only did I have bright ideas this weekend, but I changed a few light bulbs.

Seriously, when did butterflies become so friendly?
