Music and films are my biggest inspiration, and Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby hit me like an avalanche.
His swirling take on the story of reckless excess was breathtakingly beautiful and melancholy, and a few moments inspired me to create my own take on the story. I was inspired by the character Daisy Buchanan (played by Carey Mulligan,) who is in turn giddy, bored, sad, and ultimately careless. I created three looks inspired by fashion in the movie which coincide with the journey Daisy goes through, but based in modern times. If Daisy was alive today, what would she look like?
A special thanks to the enigmatic Bethany who brought my vision to life, and the fiercely talented Carly and Marion for makeup and hair.

Looking forward to your reply.
