An update since my last comment:

The FDA has since added disco dust [plastic craft glitter] to the MedWatch list for adverse reactions. They’ll be looking for problems caused by ingesting the product.

They have also issued an official advisory against putting the product directly on/in food that will be eaten. Any food producer placing it on food is adulterating the food and subject to an enforcement action by the FDA.

There’s no place for plastic glitter on food, in coffee, etc., no matter how “cute” it is. Sensible people don’t deliberately consume sharp plastic shards that can stay in the body and create problems down the line.

Hi Alana,

Wow thank you for getting back to me! The non-profit I work for is called Living Miracles. We love the soft feeling of the lavender, and I’ve looked at many other similar videos but found none quite as nice!

We’re making a site, a kind of “mystery school”, basically for retreats we’ll hold in Utah involving meditation and the merging of science & spirituality. We’d love to use the clip possibly in an intro video, and/or in a moving banner or background.

Yes, and a .mov file would be great if you’d like to share it!

Hi Jackie! The big canvas was made and I just kind of stole it and used it, but it was made pretty flimsy by someone’s husband, literally four pieces of wood, two support pieces in the centre and the canvas was a weird plastic material. I would just find someone with a saw and a staple gun and ask them to make it for you!! I’ll be doing a tutorial video very soon, since I get a million questions about this! I’ll sent you a message when it’s up

Hi Mary! Thanks so much, it was about a million years ago that I made this and I still get emails and comments daily about it! It never really left my photography studio, but transporting it would be pretty easy if you have access to a pickup or a van with the seats removed 🙂 I’ll be doing a tutorial video very soon, since I get a million questions about this!
